How To Grill Lobster

If you want to impress your guests, grilled lobster will do the trick! And lucky for you, it’s actually quite easy. Serve it solo or paired with steak and you’ll be everyone’s favorite place to hang out on the weekend.

If you want to impress your guests, grilled lobster will do the trick! And lucky for you, it’s actually quite easy. Serve it solo or paired with steak and you’ll be everyone’s favorite place to hang out on the weekend. Here are our tips for how to grill lobster.

Ingredients

  • Lobster tails
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • Lemons and limes

Directions

  • Preheat Saber® grill to high heat
  • If the lobster tails were frozen, make sure they have been thawed to room temperature before grilling (it's best to buy the lobsters the day you plan to grill them)
  • Butterfly (cut almost, but not completely through) the lobster tails lengthwise, down the middle
  • Brush with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper
  • Place lobster tails on grill for about 5 minutes
  • When done, the meat should be an opaque white color and the shells, bright red
  • Squeeze lemon and lime over the lobster and serve

Fan tip: If you want to spice it up a little more than just salt and pepper, a fan on Facebook suggested using Spanish smoked paprika, sweetened butter and a light sift of Old Bay and Zatarain’s Blackened Fish Seasoning…sounds delicious!
