Grilled Corn Soup Recipe

As the cold weather rolls in, try this hearty grilled corn soup to warm you up.

Corn soup is a simple and easy recipe that’s great for chilly evenings and the first course for big holiday dinners.

You can use a cream of corn, but we prefer to use grilled corn-on-the-cob. Grilling the corn adds more flavor that you and your guests will love. Your guests are sure to ask for seconds once they take their first sip. So be prepared and double or triple this recipe for corn soup depending on how many people you’re expecting for dinner.

Serves – 8 servings (1/2 cup servings)


  • Corn-on-the-cob (2 cobs)
  • 1 qt. heavy cream
  • 8 oz. bacon
  • Leeks (3 small or 1 large)


  • Preheat SABER Grill to high heat. Place corn on the grill, seasoned with a dash of salt and pepper
  • Add bacon and leeks to grill
  • While cutting the grilled corn off the cob, bring one quart of heavy cream to a boil on the sideburner.
  • Chop bacon and leeks
  • Add corn, bacon, and leeks to the heavy cream and reduce heat
  • Season with salt and allow soup to simmer so the flavors can marry
