In fact, what better thing to celebrate than cooking your own restaurant-quality meal at home? Since surf and turf calls for double the protein, this is the perfect meal to serve the entire family. Or, make it a romantic meal for two with your sweetie. Whatever the occasion, this meal will be one to remember.

Serve with a side salad, and you’ll leave the dinner table full and guilt-free.

Directions

  • Preheat SABER grill to high heat
  • Prepare steaks and sear until done to your liking
  • Using a sharp knife, butterfly the lobster tails on the soft side of the shell (cut them through the middle, down to the hard part). Place on the grill, soft-side down until the shell turns a bright red color – approximately 4 minutes. Turn over and cook for another 3-4 minutes. Spoon or brush a mixture of butter and tarragon* over the soft side a few times during the last couple minutes of cooking.
  • Serving suggestion: Prepare a side salad topped with bacon-wrapped scallops over field greens with grape tomatoes and a light touch of champagne vinaigrette.
  • Enjoy!

*Butter and tarragon mixture: Depending on how much you plan to grill…1-2 tablespoons of tarragon, 4-8 tablespoons of butter, garlic and black pepper to taste. Melt butter, mix all ingredients together.
